Repurpose Stuff

Remember this tag? Here is the original front

 And the back..........

I kept the original tag on show around the border. Remove the piece of cord first. The Kraft card look goes really well with reds and green so I selected some of my Stampin' Up stash of new christmas paper called Santa's Workshop and cut a rectangle out to cover the back glued on with PVA glue.

If you flip the tag over you can see where the hole is for the cord and can line up a hole punch and re punch the hole. Then work on what will be the front of the tag.

I cut another rectangle for the front and repeated punching the hole again and then threaded back the cord. I utilised another piece of the Santas workshop paper to create the border piece at the bottom of the tag and cut out one of the flocked images of an elf and sign post on another of the papers and glued these to the front - I popped the elf up on a sticky foam pad.

Then I found a little baby pom pom in my craft stash for his hat and added a bow with red textured weave ribbon. (poppy parade)

These little images are so cute - there is even a stamp set and frame lit dies to match. The framelits also cut out some of the images on the 12 x 12 papers. There's co-ordination for you! And now I have the beginning of a tag collection ready for christmas presents.
