Man - mechanic Monday!

Sometimes its hard to make more masculine cards. This paper from Stampin Up and cute charms is making this task so easy! I am also thinking of making myself some cute earrings with the spanners!

This paper would make a great card to congratulate someone from passing their driving test also!

I didn't go for the matching stamp set and framelits for this particular suite because the stack of 6x6 inch papers have all the images I need to make some cards all by themselves! I have cut the motorbike images with scissors and the wheels and dials with circle punches to make this card.

I took inspiration to make the boing! - out middle of this card from a lady called Rubyhearted mom who used butterflies for the middle of a card. I cut out 7 wheels from one of the papers and just glued the ends of the papers together after folding them in half. Then attach to each side of the fold in the middle of the card. Be careful how many you use, originally I had a whole length of wheels along the inside of the card but as the images are quite small they don't fold up very well when you close the card - so I had to scale it down and disguise the old glue marks with some oil cans also cut from the papers.

I also used some fine tip glue pen to go over the tank and some of the other parts of the motorcycle as this lifts the black and white. I am experimenting with some of the other papers in the set and will blog some more cards using this paper stack soon.
If you like these papers and charms they can be found in my shop - see under SHOP at the top of my blog and click on the link to hop to shop! The code for the papers is 148482 £10.25 for 48 sheets ( 4 each of 12 double sided designs) and the charms is 148485 £6.50 for 16 (8 of each.)

Enjoy man-ic monday (or mechanic monday?)
